QuickGix Terms and Conditions

Welcome to QuickGix. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

QuickGix ("we," "our," "us") provides a platform that connects customers with service providers for various services. These Terms outline the rights and responsibilities of both customers and service providers using the QuickGix platform.

9. INDEMNITY AND LEGAL PROTECTION

This Indemnity and Legal Protection Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is an integral part of QuickGix's Terms & Conditions. By using the QuickGix platform, users and service providers agree to be bound by this Policy.

QuickGix is a facilitator platform, providing a marketplace for users (clients) and service providers (freelancers, artisans, skilled and unskilled workers) to connect for services. QuickGix does not provide the services directly and is not responsible for the actual execution, quality, or safety of any services performed by providers.

This document outlines indemnity clauses, liability limitations, dispute resolution procedures, and protections for QuickGix, users, and providers.


9.1. Indemnity for QuickGix

General Indemnification Clause

By using QuickGix, both users and service providers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickGix, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, legal fees, penalties, and expenses arising from:

QuickGix does not employ service providers. Providers operate as independent contractors and assume full responsibility for their work. QuickGix is not liable for:

10.1 General Limitation

QuickGix, its affiliates, employees, agents, and directors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

  1. Defective, incomplete, or poor-quality services provided by service providers.
  2. Any accidents, injuries, or property damage caused during service execution.
  3. Misconduct, fraud, or unprofessional behavior of service providers.
  4. Theft, loss, or destruction of personal or business property during a service engagement.
  5. Force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances

11.4 Acknowledgment of Risks

By registering as a service provider on the QuickGix platform, you acknowledge that:
     a) You are providing services at your own risk, and QuickGix does not control or supervise the interactions between users and providers.
     b) While QuickGix verifies user accounts where possible, the platform does not guarantee the credibility, trustworthiness, or background of users                 requesting services.
     c) You assume full responsibility for evaluating and ensuring the safety of the environments and individuals you engage with through QuickGix.


11.5. QuickGix's Limited Liability

      a) No Employer-Employee Relationship: QuickGix acts as a marketplace facilitator and does not employ, manage, or direct service providers. The            company bears no liability for incidents, disputes, or harm suffered while performing services.
      b) No Liability for Personal Safety Risks: QuickGix shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, theft, fraud, violence, or harm                            sustained by service providers during or after service fulfillment.
      c) No Financial Responsibility for Losses: QuickGix is not liable for non-payment by users, fraudulent transactions, or financial losses suffered by              service providers due to engagement with users.
     d) No Guarantee of Service Requests: QuickGix does not guarantee a minimum number of bookings or earnings and is not responsible for business           losses.


11.6. Service Provider Responsibilities

As a QuickGix service provider, you agree to:
      a) Exercise Due Diligence: Take necessary precautions when engaging with users, including vetting the environment before rendering services.
      b) Prioritize Personal Safety: Avoid accepting suspicious, unsafe, or high-risk service requests. You have the right to decline services if you feel                    uncomfortable.
      c) Report Suspicious Users Immediately: Use QuickGix’s in-app reporting system or customer support to flag any user exhibiting fraudulent or                    unsafe behavior.
      d) Carry Insurance Where Necessary: If applicable, ensure you have personal or professional liability insurance for potential risks associated with            service provision.


11.7. Safety 

      a) User Background Checks: While QuickGix may introduce verification processes for users, providers must exercise caution and judgment before              accepting service requests.
      b) Emergency Support: If you feel threatened or unsafe during a service, QuickGix strongly advises service providers to leave immediately and                    report the incident. In emergencies, contact local authorities.

13.3 Provider Identity Verification & Username Consistency

To maintain the integrity, safety, and transparency of the QuickGix platform, all service providers are required to register using their true and verifiable identity.

By signing up as a provider, you agree to:

If you are not a registered business entity, your QuickGix username must reflect your real, legal name as shown on your submitted identification. This helps build trust with users, promotes accountability, and supports platform-wide security.

If you are registering on behalf of a licensed or incorporated business, your profile may reflect the official business name, but supporting documents such as a business registration certificate or business license must be uploaded in addition to your National ID verification.


14. Legal Compliance & Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ghana.


15. Promotions & Rewards

This policy outlines the terms, structure, and execution of promotional campaigns on the QuickGix platform, including referral bonuses, discounts, coupons, wallet bonuses, and loyalty points. It is designed to maximize user acquisition and retention while protecting the interests of both service providers and the platform.

📌 Note: Providers can opt in or out of wallet-funded or promo bookings by declining such bookings. However, constistently opting out reduces visibility in high-traffic booking zones and promotional listings.
